Maybe I'm a little too into Doctor Who

This morning while in the shower I was thinking about Doctor Who and a question came to my mind.  I puzzled on it for a minute or two and realized I didn't know the answer.  I thought as soon as I get out I have to post on LJ and see if anyone has an insight.  I turned off the water, opened the shower door, only to realize I hadn't finished rinsing

When she wakes up in "Parting of the Ways," it's clear that she doesn't remember much about what happened while she was Bad Wolf. She says she remembers a song, and Nine says , "Right, I sang a song and the Daleks ran away." In the CiN special that slots in between PotW and "The Christmas Invasion," she asks about Jack and the Doctor says "He's busy rebuilding the Earth!" (Later we learn that he was running away from Jack's wrongness.) I like to think that Rose feared that Jack might be dead at that point, and that the Doctor was trying to lie to her about that, and so she didn't pursue the issue for that reason

Actually in the 2005 children in need special she mentions going back to get him but the freshly regenerated (and off his rocker) doctor says jack is busy helping rebuild the earth.

yes she does and you are missing something : the red nose special for that year has rose asking to go back, and the Doctor telling her Jack has work to do.
