By popular demand, I update! I've been back in school for 5 weeks now for Dental Hygiene. I started out good and strong but seem to losing my edge a bit. And the sad thing is I'm actually studying for 3hrs MWF and 2 on TR and have been studying more each week. Just got out of an evil test erlier. I'm just not a fan of empire waists in general. On you it would probably look fine but I think the second one would look better. Course I know nothing about dresses so...

Why do you want sleeves?

Um... while I love David's Bridal for their wonderful selection and color choices... I'll vote in a non-committal way:

1) most of the time their dresses don't look the same on as in the picture so I'd have to see you in the dress
2) make sure you try it on a few times before ordering, you'll probably be a size larger than your street clothes (big ego boost huh?) and more likely than not you'll need it to be altered

So, which ever looks better! (I know, so helpful)

Well it is actually helpful, I was just planning to order the dress from the website not actually go to a store. I didn't even know they had stores, I was thinking it was an online store only.
