So today is Drew's and mine 5th anniversary.  I told him I wanted presents this year.  So I got him a bunch of little stuff that is very practical.  He got me an engagement ring that he made himself.  He made the wax model, the plaster mold, and then cast it with the help of his prof at school.  I of course said yes.  Here is a close up.

It's COLD!!!!! I hate the cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell!  I live practically in Mexico, winter doesn't exist here!!!!

My dad told me yesterday that his mom, my grandma, passed away.  i unfortunately did not know her well but what i did know was wonderful.  She always wanted to make her family happy and my best memory of her was when I was 22 she took me to my first and only circus.  I still have the prize I got hanging on my reviwe mirror in my truck.   I'm jsut ( Read more... )

Happy New Years everyone!!!!  I hope everyone had a fun and safe evening!!

So I meant to post this yesterday.  Drew got a wii for X-mas and we've been playing wii fit.  Yesterday he go wii fit plus and it has an option for making a profile for your pet or baby.  So we made one for Rico.  Apparently he weighs 14 lbs.  That's a huge cat!!

Whoa.  It's been awhile since I last posted it seems. I'm still in the program.  I need one more semester to finish and then I'm done.  After that I need to take my National Boards, WREB (practical exam, and something else I can't remember to get my license.  Then I can start job hunting.  Le sigh.  almost done ( Read more... )

So after having missed 2 days of clinic due to the hurricane, I will most likely fail out of the program.  They are not giving me that time back.  They are marginally lowering the requirements to pass which still doesn't help me, b/c i needed that time just to get to that level.  *wanders off too stressed to type*

So I'm back from Houston after having run away from Alex.  There was no damage to my house at all so that's good.  It hit farther south than was expected.  But I got to spend Mary's B-day with her which was awesome!!   But now to unpack and study for my test tomorrow at 8am.

Hurricane Alex is headed my way.  Let y'all know how that goes later.
