The ache and sting in my left arm that started in September is still with me and has kinda changed to more of a sting than a bruised feeling. Not always there but springs up predictably when I move my arm or have to hold something with my left hand. Always some small malady going on. At least my back is better now. It took nearly a year to get over

According to the no-kill shelters I have adopted from, FIV+ cats can live with non-FIV+ cats, without passing the disease to other cats, as long as there is no fighting that involves deep bites. But it's always a risk, trying to introduce cats to each other. There's going to be some hissing and growling, and no guarantee that Ellie cat will want a friend. It's a tough decision. I wonder if you let him be an outdoor kitty and kept food out for him, if he'd stay close and not fight with other kitties.
