The Flint Manor Christmas party was not Theo’s favorite event at Flint Manor. I mean, he enjoyed a good party as much as anyone but prepping for the party always stressed him out so much. He just couldn’t enjoy it as much as he’d like

"Hi, Miss Frida," Bolly says, clambering awkwardly onto the stool next to her because his hands are full of tray and the tray is full of snacks. "You put nothing but Christmas music on the music list again."

"But what if there are passages you can only get into as a first year?"

"Reverse age line type thing?" she considers it, "Possible but not that probable, I bet that would be way easier to crack than a standard age barrier."

"They could just be really small!"

That does give her pause, "That'd be a lot smarter, that's true. Sometimes I do start thinking like a dumb wix."

"Huh? A maximum age line would be real clever magic, Miss Frida!"

[trulynorthbound]

"But harder than just making a tiny passage," she nods as if this is some kind of life lesson, "Work smarter not harder."

[snakehalf]

"That's good advice," Bolly says sincerely. "You're very smart. Try the spring rolls, they're so good."

"Cheers," she does and they really are. Small fire aside, they should definitely hire the same caterer again.
