First sighting of Christmas stuff in a store: Sept 23! Every year I keep meaning to take note of the earliest sighting but never remember to, but this time it's officially on record. Anyone else see Christmas decorations up yet

I saw a Dollar General Market selling a few Christmas decorations. I wanted to buy some cute nutcrackers, but I don't have much money right now.

I haven't seen Christmas decorations but I've seen some Christmas branded chocolate about already - about two weeks ago, probably on the 10th. OH well.

No, it isn't. I would call that being literal soul-mates really.

Yeah, it is kind of icky, but worse than that, it's been done so many times, and so often done so badly, that it engenders the Automatic Eye-Roll. Unless you have a truly original approach, and can pull it off with more style than most, I'd say don't go there.
