I knew you'd spot that! I've been to Arizona a couple of times, once as a kid and once a couple of years ago. But with the deadly Aunt God She's Awful. My grandmother's brother lived in Arizona and when we visited many year's ago, he was very, very against our traveling south to NM or across the border to Mexico. Uncle Lee absolutely filled her brain with horror stories of the dangers thereof.
The pain in my *ss insisted on joining my in Arizona a couple of years ago after I had a business trip to Tucson. So instead of going south, we compromised and went north to Sedona, in a convertible, which made up for any disappointment I had in not going to Taos or Sante Fe while I was in the southwest.

As you can see, I've never gotten that far west. That will require a real vacation with flights, car rentals and specific plans. With being unemployed, that isn't in the foreseeable future yet but there are certainly places in California that I want to see someday!

The latest freelance work was a T-shirt and hoodie for a company called Completely Bare.......

So Nurse Honda, how many states have you visited?

Ireland and Canada are the only places I've been outside of the US. They're both rather accessible. English speaking, relatively cheap, safe and friendly as well as gorgeous and exciting! Think of all you have to look forward too!

The world is a really varied and amazing place but I'm frustrated by the many American's I've talked to who feel that it's important to travel widely outside of the US but who have only been in 3 or 4 states of their own country! (Here in the east, that can be done in a day.)
