Silence of Time Update
The pack, still in the spirit world, went into the subway and Scylla tried sniffing for Caleb. She couldn't catch his scent and in fact didn't seem to have his blood tag anymore; she remembered hearing about a rite that erases such scents from anyone who's bitten you (Cleansed Blood, of course). The pack asked Stalker if he could direct them to a locus to step out, so they could hunt down the other two rogue werewolves. Stalker took them into the spirit-subways, and admonished them to be quiet.
They came upon two spirits - one a gigantic metal serpent, the other an amorphous blob - fighting. They tried to sneak by, but the pack is only as stealthy as its clumsiest member (in this case Phil) and were discovered. The serpent hissed at them to "clear the path," and so they attacked the blob, killing it pretty handily (rather, discorporating it, whereupon it burst and showered them in goo). The serpent, a subway-spirit, told them that Caleb was Asah Gadar - a Bale Hound. It also told them he wasn't in the subways, but didn't know where he was beyond that. It offered them a lift and dropped them at the locus.
This locus was weak, and seemed centered around a pile of human eyeballs in the spirit world. The pack stepped across and Salazar picked up the scent of his pack, and hunted them down. He found the two werewolves - both women, one named Betsy and the other Hattie - sleeping. The pack recognized Hattie; she'd been in the news a few years back. She'd killed her family, been sent to prison, and then escaped recently while picking up litter on a work assignment.
Salazar woke them. Betsy saw Zeke and immediately went blind, and backed up into the corner and cowered. Hattie attacked, but submitted when Scylla blooded her. The pack gave them a crash course in the Oath, and took them back to Phil's house for showers and further lessons.
Reese called Don and told him to come to the house and pick up his pack. Don arrived and took the young werewolves away to school them, hoping eventually to bring their Harmony ratings up to functionality again. Reese and Phil went the heck to sleep, while Zeke and Scylla ventured back out to look for Scylla's missing sister (morning of 9/20/04).
