Like the title? I think its sinisterly clever.

Heh, I just stumbled across this completely randomly, but let me say: I agree with pretty much everything. Gods, Elizabeth. This is what happens when a story is no longer following what the story is about and gets derailed by pandering to the audience. "Hey, we have a hot girl. Let's make her a BADASS hot girl, as well!" Pfft. I can understand the occasional Taking a Level In Badass, but only if it makes sense. Elizabeth, who grew up in a corset and probably never had to sprint in her entire life? I'm supposed to believe that SHE is able to learn sword-fighting from Will in what can't be more than several months, offscreen, enough to have the fitness, muscle memory, coordination, skills and sheer guts to stand up to pirates who've been cutting people up for decades? That she can handle anything on a ship without her callous-less tender hands being rubbed to shreds? Ugh. By the end of the second movie, I was just sick of her. The damsel-in-distress thing, she did excellently. The badass pirate? Ridiculous ( ... )
