The apartments in helsinki are hella expensive too. That's why I decided on the room in a student-apartment. It's only 257e per month and i get about 440e from The Social Insurance Institution and I can earn 600e per month myself. the great thing about this apartment is also the fact that the water electricity and internet access are all included in that 257! :D

wow, that is really cheap! my cheapest option would be to live in a dorm, BUT this would mean living in a room with 2 or 3 other girls. dnw :(
