Ahem, happy new year. For some reason I thought you were in another location and not in Qatar, but good to hear that is where you are since it sounds like a safe(ish) place. When you get back Stateside, are you stuck in Arkansas again or do you get to live somewhere else?
As for the art stuff, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think when you get back and are able to settle in and get back to a more normal life, everything will fall back into place. But it's good that you'll be getting back at such a fun and exciting time with the kids' ages.
Oh and the movie - haven't seen it nor read the books and I have no intentions of it. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just not my cup of tea and I think the reason these people bash it is cause they secretly love it...and have some retarded mentality that they have to keep up this image of hatred and so on... But I thought everyone loved Harry Potter though?

nah... qatar is where i am... the media likes to refer to it obscurely as "southwest asia". there really isn't enough of a country here to make it a significant location imho. though they seem to have quite a bit of money in and around Doha. when i get back stateside, we will be in r-can-saw for at least another year. then i can start trying to get other assignments... though nothing's for sure on that. i could be at little rock potentially for the rest of my military career which is a frightening thought.
i have a strange facination with vampires anyways (which i think was realized by my bloodrayne drawings) so it was hard to hook me. the books read a little bit like a young adult version of anne rice. they're much easier to understand and get through. for me anyways. i actually didn't even know there was a movie until ashley told me how excited she was to see it on the debut date. lol
