Good news? More than a sentence.

My mom has finally received good news regarding her foot: it looks like it has completely healed. This has been a long time coming (three years?). Maybe she will walk again someday soon. If so, I can't help but think, what will be the next crisis? I know it's horrible to think this, but there it is. I can't help it.

Yea for your mom! That is fantastic news!

And I *completely* understand waiting for the other shoe to drop, but don't. Live in the moment and embrace this good news. (I know, I know--easier said than done!)
