"That`s a pretty nasty error message... Okay, whatever you do, don't reboot the system, k?"

What the customer hears:

"Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah REBOOT the system, k?"

"Okay"

My few years of experience working with students tells me...never give an instruction in the negative!

It's always "DO THIS" rather than "PLEASE DON'T DO THIS".

So that means you should say "STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER SIR/MA'AM"
