The Strength In Weakness

I am alive. I live. Therefore, I can only understand things that have a beginning and an end. Polarity. I see it in everything. Every blessing has the potential to become a curse. Every strength can atrophy. Every good thing, if misunderstood, can be seen as harmful. Hope's shadow twin is naivete. Strength, whether physical or mental, can be ( Read more... )

Often, I take for granted that your posts quite often mirror my own feelings. We are travelling the same road Red, and the company is good. So about us figuring out how to live closer so we can have these conversations over coffee. SHEESH.

Recovered darkness is only made stronger by those who understand why the darkness is to be cognitively opposed and ultimately those who understand why, from experience, the light is so important.

Well said lady.

When you figure out how to shut your face every once in a while, and let someone else contribute to a verbal conversation, we'll talk about coffee. :P Mewrh.

I'm sure you know that poke was spoken in good-natured fun. However, my philosophical and pensive mood is not letting me leave it as is ( ... )

I understand your concept but at the same time, I don't feel that your perspective is entirely spot on. Perhaps that is because your conversations with me have taken place entirely over the phone. Perhaps you are not like this in person. Every man in Jeremy's family, however, is. I've never, in my life, wanted to run from a room faster than when the three of them are trying to have a conversation. I don't know if they're even talking about the same thing! As a people watcher, I have noticed this behavior in other men... as well as some women of questionable sexual origin ( ... )

I don't mind hanging out in a box for a while but I've found that the solitary, predictable quality is that I have few predictable qualities. Or at least, this is what people have said from the outside. I have a tendancy to move completely through phases of life with no real reminders of the phase before.

I don't know if that's entirely true, "I" feel like I hold on to a few things that perhaps I shouldn't but it is my dedication in life, as much it seems to be yours, to eschew the traces of my past life and transgressions for the sake of becoming a more whole person.

And that...as they say, is that.
