Andrew and I LIKE talking about poltics.  We didn't used to, not really, but then, what were we going to say about Kerry and what didn't we say about Bush?  Finding a candidate to believe in has been a god-send for us.  It's engaged us in the overall process.  It's encouraged us to do our homework, research what the candidates offer and what it ( Read more... )

No, no, you haven't offended me! I heart the Andrew and Erin! I've just been off ... doing/talking about other things. Admittedly, I've not been watching or reading the news much lately.

Fair enough. We never want our . . . enthusiasm to come off as being offensive. We like the discussions, but we also respect other people's privacy when it comes to voting or their preference to not discuss it. We just did not want to offend.

I did say in my post that I generally don't like talking about politics. I don't like talking about politics or religion generally because people can't do it with an open mind and without judgement. It's one of those "you can't have an opinion different than me or else" kind of subjects ( ... )

It's not just you and Xanne, Jeremy, most people I know are pretty "blah" about the election. I think it's Andrew and I who are the odd ones.

I agree on the coffee shop type thing. My dad and I are voting for different candidates this year, which brings out the best discussions.
