LOL. My daughter just turned 12, and apparently I have become the most embarrassing person on the planet. :D

Yeah, I never really went through that phase overmuch. I mean, sometimes my parents actually *were* embarrassing, so of course then I was entitled to treat them like lepers. But it was never anything but totally justified on my part. Honest. ;)

Actually, my mother's been telling everyone from my old band director to the mailman about my grades this semester, and it's killing me a little. But she's proud of me and I love her for it, so I haven't (and won't) said anything about it.
