ah, viddy well oh my brother. how art thou?

well, if mr sheehan is right (and i sincerely hope he isn't), then it's a sad sad world that we live in (more so, i mean). i find personally that i'm learning better in this sort of environment, but then for me just learning in the first place is a good start. everyone is different, but even if we don't perform in a free environment, at least we are free. that, in the long run, is more important in my eyes.

everything's a balance, when it comes to importance. it all depends on the sort of life that you want to live... everything has a price. not working has a price in that you may not be able to get what is seen as a 'good' job. not socialising has the obvious price of not having as much 'fun' or being as confident.

life is what you make of it, or at least what you try to make of it. some people try their hardest to succeed at what they want, but always fall short. some people just don't try, but get carried to the top on a silver plater. luck plays a big part.
you're right:

oh. sorry, I got caught up in the damn annoying-ness of the marquee function to remember that I had something to say:

these exams are mock exams - remember what happened at gcse?

I hope everybody does well, but sometimes you don't work hard enough etc. and you don't. so much pressure is put on people over 16 to achieve, making it seem like your life will be a living hell if you don't get A grades. remember - you can go to university to get a degree with practically any grades you get at A level. failing your choices you can go through clearing.

don't worry farai, life is worth a hell of a lot more than a certificate. we're having a lot of fun at the moment - but the work still gets done! if you fuck up this week then at least you'll be more prepared in the summer. it's all I can say really.. just - don't worry.
