I'm Erin, majoring in Bio in the fall.  it wasn't my number 1 by any means but I honestly can't afford to go anywhere else.  I'm commuting, my boyfriend and a lot of people from Ludlow go there.  May try out for the softball team, will defiantly do intramurals.  The campus seems nice but I think its a little too small for me.  I'm going

Hi Erin.
Congrats on your choice to come to Westfield. As a graduating senior I can say that going to Westfield State was an excellent decision, even though it wasn't my top choice either. I will give you one piece of advice. Even if you have negative feelings and pre-conceived notions about the school, don't allow yourself to have a negative outlook about coming to school here just because it wasn't your top choice. Westfield State is an extremely underrated school, and there are many great things happening at the school right now. It is a school where you will see some students who just barely slip by, but it is also a school that has tons to offer to literally any student who puts in the effort and takes advantage of the opportunities that are available. I wish you luck, and hope that you get as much out of your undergrad as i did.
