So much for "rooting out corruption," huh? If it isn't entirely obvious to you that Sarah Palin is a hardcore liar after watching these videos -- not to mention reading this and also this -- I don't know what else to tell you. Oh, except that she also lied about Obama's record, as he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored 427 as a US senator and Read more... )

If the bro-in-law had been a dep. here, and had tasered his own stepson-- he'd have been publicly exposed and everyone involved in keeping him on his job would have been fired.

If I had been her, I would have done the same-- no, worse-- I would have gone "hunting".

She is not a hard-core liar. She is someone who is a vice president candidate, and I do not understand why you are all suddenly afraid. After all, it's Barak (a young politician) running against John (an old politician).

And ask yourselves: if Barak Obama is about change, why did he choose someone as his running mate who has been in the Senate LONGER than McCain?

a) If you have a complaint about someone's behavior, you go through official channels and file formal complaints. Certainly Palin could have done that, and then cited Monegan's refusal to do anything about Wooten as grounds for firing him. Instead, she had people making secret phone calls and applying pressure and then lied about it, as well as the reasons she had him fired. I don't see how anyone can dispute that, especially since her most recent "reason" is that it was over a budgetary concern.

b) I'm not so much afraid of her impact on the race -- worried would be a better word, as I certainly think people are stupid enough to vote her and McCain in (Bush, TWICE!), and I would be afraid with her in the freaking White House) -- as I am disgusted.

And actually, I like Biden. Way back in the debates I saw at the top of the primary season, I thought he seemed like the most knowledgeable candidate, and I agree with his assessment that he has been an agent of change. Plus, and rightly so, if something happened to Obama, I think he's ( ... )

You mean that old story from 12 years ago? And no books were banned, btw-- it was politics as usual-- and the woman kept her job.

Biden was such a great candidate that he got 8000 votes to Hillary's 18 million. :p

Happy weekend-- gonna be an exciting election this year.

The woman kept her job after citizens protested -- and since when was attempting to get books banned "politics as usual"? Maybe in China...

Also, Biden got 79,754 votes, not 8,000. I'm hoping you typo'd on the missing zero? Or did Huckabee dupe you as well? (Although 8K would still be more votes than Palin got running for mayor of Wasilla -- not that vote totals should be the primary qualification for a VP candidate.)
