From WesotericHe's called multiple times today -- likely once from his health care service provider (seriously!) and at least twice from a pay phone. He may also have called at least once using a calling card, though we can't say for certain whether those calls (which occur daily from the same 866 number) are from him or a telemarketer ( Read more... )

If the police or rather your mother won't do something, you may have to just make sure you protect yourself!

OR-- I wonder if you could hire a lawyer and sue the jerk? Or start videoing him and recording him and keep everything? Cameras on the property?

Move? At least CHANGE your number!!!

And make it private as in WORK and TRUSTED friends only.

Has your family given any consideration to getting the hell out of town?

I'd suggest Portland, especially because creativity, geekiness and autoflagellation are practically civic duties, but the economy sucks all ass.

Ha! I think my mom likes it here a lot, so she'll probably want to stay put -- and in any case I doubt that those Portland highlights would appeal to her very much. I'll keep the city on my personal exit strategy list, though!

Actually, she went to the police station last night, but they apparently wouldn't do anything. From the sound of things, the lady at the desk didn't believe her and just threw a bunch of forms at her -- the same stuff she filled out way back when to get the peace order. Which, as we know, didn't take.

I have no idea what needs to happen here.
