considering it looks like I should be closing on my first home purchase this week...
Not counting having to pay closing costs and downpayment let's see...
I would buy the fridge I really like instead of trying to figure out if I can make the less expensive one work in that kitchen or I would have the kitchen counters replaced as soon as I close instead of waiting or I would have the bathroom in the master remodeled or I would buy the flat screen tv I would love for the new living room or I would pay off a chunk of the car loan and buy new tires and get the tune up etc or or or damn the list of expenses for a homeowner starts and I don't even own it yet
We got just a little more than that back in taxes this year. We paid off a loan at the bank and a loan from MIL, paid a bunch of bills, stocked up well on groceries, spent a couple hundred at Game Stop and Len bought his dad's Lil Red Dakota Express for $2500. I wish just once I could use the whole thing on something fun!
