That sounds like a rather good system =) I should try this out, since I want to be a teacher and all.
I agree, discussions are more interesting. And if you're being forced to particpate in them then you'll have to learn something. And teaching someone else something is the best way of learning, therefore when you put your input into a discussion, you are learning a lot more than you would otherwise.
Um, anyways. Good job, my friend. You deserve a pat on the back.
However, 2 hours and 15 minutes of class would totally make me bored.
Yeah it did seem a little long but hey I wrote that at 3 in the morning, also I was thinking maybe 5 or 10 minute break 1 hour in, kinda how college does it. This would also give students a chance to ask any questions and clarify anything they were having trouble with.
