I feel like I've travelled back in time... Just got home from spending an incredible evening with the National Arts Centre Orchestra performing The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring in concert, and my god I'm in love with the film and cast and crew and most especially Howard Shore all over again. Oh yes! I remember that. My trip out east in 2004. I was so happy that I helped you two link up!

My goodness, the National Arts Centre was a magical place for me as a child. The weird architecture (which always made me want to explore), that amazing stage curtain, the massive heavy doors that you could push open with a finger... I saw the Nutcracker there once and I loved it. I can only imagine what it would have been like seeing LotR there... Oh my. I'm terribly envious of you!

Wasn't it amazing??? Although I could have done without the subtitles. I mean, where do they get off renaming our beautiful hero Frodon Sacquette?? And Strider Grande-pas?? Honestly. That's like calling that famous French actor/chanteur Morris Horseman. Only in our fair town. :)
