What scares me is the thought that someone literate enough to HAVE an email address may have actually fallen for this one. I have to wonder if the person who wrote this just wanted to see if anyone would actually follow through. Though more than likely, the spelling is to trick spam type filters ( Read more... )

It's scary to think there are actually people who may fall for this. I bet they are too, because they're bad spellers themselves!

This is just one of those things that they make novice hackers do; it doesn't affect anyone, but it gets them a little experience.

It's like foraging branches.

I get so many of these things now I hardly notice them anymore. Of course, I don't actually /have/ a bank account, which might explain that.

And I have a ten year old hotmail address. That's the spam equivalent of being the villiage bicycle, I think.
