For the sake of documenting some of the funnier mistakes, and getting some of the more common ones out of my system, I'm going to be posting what I think are some entertaining errors from the message boards. We'll begin with the two standards:

Concent <> Consent
Rediculous <> Ridiculous

And of course:
Could of <> Could have (often pronounced ( Read more... )

Oh, and AMEN!!!

Could of <> Could have (often pronounced Could've, hence the confusion)
Should of <> Should have (see above)

That drives me crazy. It's nice to know I'm not the only one, especially when I noticed Microsoft Word has an Auto Correct feature just for those entries.

Yay for all grammar nazis. I can't spell at all, I know this. I do at least try though, usually.

One of the grammar mistakes that annoys me the most is the 'your' instead of 'you're' or using 'their' instead of 'there' or 'they're'. I can't stand that. I must correct people at least 5 times a day, drives me nucking futs.
