This hurricane response has me both personally mad and sad at the same time. We mobilized assistance to the areas impacted by the tsunami in less than a day. We've sent people to the moon, repeatedly. People would argue that our National Guard is stretched thin because of ongoing commitments but there are thousands ready to deploy right here,

I'm with ya buddy, but all of the places I've looked at aren't taking people.
I'm throwing some money to the Red Cross and Catholic Charities through my church, but I'm keeping my ear open because they're going to need help for months if not an entire year down there.
