It's the hockey playoffs! Yay! The Caps have game 3 tonight at home against Boston, the defending Stanley Cup champs and a tremendously good team. At least they managed to steal a game in Boston, but odds are the Bruins will return the favor today or Wednesday. I would ordinarily be at fever pitch with excitment except that

Glad you are doing so well.
I saw a greyish brownish bird with long legs and beak strutting up the creek today making a very strange noise. The noise is what first drew my attention. We sometimes get herons but I have no idea if that is what this was. I didn't bother to try to look it up as I can never tell from the pictures and I didn't remember 'til I read this post.

Here is a link to a picture of a heron. Sometimes they don't have their neck stretched up aa the way like this.

That looks a good bit like him although his neck was much straighter and his color was more brownish. thanks
