I couldn't be happier to hear you say this. I think it's true that New Years is the worst time of year to make resolutions about the next year, assuming you reckon the new year as January 1st, not the beginning of Spring which is a time of beginnings and outward movement. But the dead of Winter (or what passes for it in this temperate, coastal Arcadia) is a perfect time for contemplation, consolidation, and making plans. And it sounds like you have done just that. I suggest you set goals for what kind of groundwork you can lay between now and the Spring Equinox, and when you get there, begin something.

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
