I thought I could figure it out so I wasn't going to bother but after three failed attempts I'm starting to get a little desperate and depressed.Okay…so here it is. I’m trying to make a strawberry-kiwi trifle…a layered dessert sort of thing--like sponge cake, fruit, custard, Jell-O etcetera…but I'm getting off the subject ( Read more... )

For hours...it's still like liquid. I don't know why it won't...do the Jell-O thing.

Really...I wonder what it could be...putting fruit inside of Jell-O is common when making a trifle...at least I thought so.

Hey Jack you cook? You mean all of that stuff on the back of the box? Yeah! Mixed it with hot water till it dissolved, added the cold water...put it in a dish with the fruit and I let it sit...did this a couple of times before.

That's... Odd. You mustest be something wrong otherwise it would be justest fine.

What are you all using exactly, might I ask? And how cold is the frig?

Hah well you're right about that and it's usually the case.

Well with the Jell-O all I'm usuing is the Jell-O itself plus the fruit--strawberries and kiwi. And the frige is cold (really cold like they keep them in the stores).
