My god, he blogs!

We Earthlings shan't be there in person, of course, but we'll be there in spirit. Our Eurovision Night might be kicking off a little later than yours (an old friend of JTA's has quite foolishly scheduled his wedding for the same night as Eurovision), but rest assured we'll be playing along, albeit with a timelapse.

So send your texts and your thoughts to me as the night goes on, and I'll timelapse those, too, and have them "pop up" on my phone at the appropriate point during the proceedings. Trust me: we have the technology.

Much love and hugs to all of you down there. And I hope you'll be able to make it over to Oxford for our new housewarming (and perhaps another Murder Mystery!) later in the year...

When I realised Eurovision was coming up and there was no way we could get over to Aber (as Dan says, got to go to a wedding in Lincolnshire - don't these people check for scheduling conflicts?!), I got a bit sad. It's going to be pretty weird doing Eurovision without you.

Next year maybe we can all get together and do it old-style.

Hurrah for time-delayed Eurovision Night, though! Let me know if you'd like some bunting - I have a fair bit to spare (it's actually leftover Royal Wedding bunting from work, but it has the requisite Union flags, so it'll do).
