Computer advice needed

I've decided to get myself a laptop before this desktop dies. I'd like something basic and not too expensive, I only do arts and I don't game, so it needn't be too high tech, but I'd like it to be decent, with wireless capability. What do you think of this? I'm looking at the last two options, and was wondering if they looked okay... I'm not sure

RAM sucks.

XP required a minimum of 512 to run - the basic models have 512 and Vista, which probably require more.

I'd play it safe and get 1GB minimum, preferably 2...

2gb?!!? Vista needs 1gb to run but vista is shit and ingrid shouldnt get it. 1gb should be more than enough for what she's using it for. i got 2gb and im ganna be running a bunch of huge programs all at once.
