The new arrival

It seems we have a new member of the family. Drove to Marlow this morning to collect what seems to be David's new baby! He paid out £250 on ebay for a rather sexy Ibanez guitar. It is either Rosewood or Mahogany - I am guessing the first judging on colour. It really is a beauty and I can understand why he played it in the car all the way back LOL! ( Read more... )

This afternoon I shooped a lot as it's payday.

S'funny, I never had you pegged as a Cher fan.

Anyway, typo-nitpicking aside, go and listen to those Adem songs I sent you a while back. He's playing at the Zodiac in May and I think you'll like him.

Radiohead are headlining on Sunday at Staffs V Fest
£58.50 plus £7 booking fee for a single day. Can get there in hour and a half. I am definitely going - loads of other bands on that I like. I get Bloc Party and Kasabian - you might be harder to please. I am going just for Radiohead anyway so everything else is a bonus. Tickets go on sale on Friday. The Saturday lineup does not interest me at all so just going for the one day. Let me know if you are interested and I will save you a seat in the car.

Hey, I like Bloc Party. I'm not that hard to please, am I?

'Tis a bit expensive, mind, for a couple of bands... I'll ponder on it. How quickly does this usually sell out? I'm a bit strapped at the moment (hurry up and pay me, work) so I might not have the money on Friday.

I don't think day tickets go as fast as weekenders but with it being Radiohead and nice accessible Midlands I think they might go fairly quickly. I only know one person likely to be coming and that's our web guy, Giles, so I can save a seat in the car anyway. I'd offer to get your ticket on my card and let you pay me when you have the money but am ticket buying like buggery over the next few weeks and likely to max it out.

Yes, indeed. I manage to mess up clothes in general most days. Sleeves, trouser legs... I am sure there will be many more! I am a messy eater and a clumsy daydreamer- Sketchley's Customer of the Year Award 3 years running! :)
