-CHAPTER 20-
We were waiting in the living room and it’s already 8:00 pm. I’m starting to think that maybe Yunho isn’t actually going to come or forgot where I lived.
“Jaejoong… do you think that maybe Yunho is not coming?” Junsu said, looking half worried, half relieved. I shrugged.
“Whatever. Even if he doesn’t come, at least today was quite fruitful; I got a nice fighting outfit” I said thinking about how fighting would be easier if I wore that thick hooded jacket I bought. That thing looked like it could resist cuts!
“What are you two pabos talking about? Don’t you know that people go to the club late at night?” she said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Eh, no because I never went to a club? Besides they sometimes go to clubs in the afternoon in those dramas to drink alcohol too!” I said.
“That’s a bar, it’s different” IU said with a slight hint of superiority in her voice.
“Well whatever, I don’t know” I said, crossing my arms, looking away.
Suddenly, a scream came from somewhere.
“Jaejoong! Jaeeejoong!!! JAEJOONGGGGG!” the voice kept getting louder and louder and it was quite scary. It didn’t come from the door.
“That sounds like Yunho” Junsu said and I sighed in relief. I thought it was some kind of ghost.
“Jaejooooooooooooooong!”
“Where is the voice coming from?” I said, checking the door, but there was nobody behind it.
“Jaejoooong! Jaejoong!”
“Hyung… I think that it’s coming from outside…” Changmin said.
No fucking way.
I ran to my balcony and stared outside and there he was, leaning on his car parked at the entrance of my apartment, screaming my name.
“Shut it!” I shouted back at him. This is freaking embarrassing because the whole apartment building could probably hear his screaming. Not to mention the neighbouring apartment buildings too.
“Oh! Jaejoong, come down quickly!!!!” he yelled.
“Shut up I said! It’s late!” I yelled back. Suddenly, there were sounds of many windows and glass doors opening.
“Shut up! We’re trying to sleep!” a male voice yelled.
“Young man! Do you have no manners at all?!” my neighbour ajhumma yelled back. She then stared at me weirdly.
“U-um… I was just telling him to shut up too” I said with an awkward smile “…young people these days, aish, don’t you agree?” I asked her and she nodded fervently. Soon there were a jumble of sounds coming out from the apartment which was becoming more and more like a human boom box.
“Have you no shame?!”
“Don’t make me come down there!”
“Omo, you’re so good looking! Are you here for your girlfriend? So romantic!~”
“Would you mind being romantic earlier next time?!”
Yunho seemed to have finally realized his mistake when he went back inside his car to shield himself from a tomato that flew his way. I sighed and went back in.
“Let’s go Junsu” I said, looking like I could shoot a bullet in my head “Yunho’s here”
IU and Changmin were literally on the floor laughing their asses off. I would have laughed too if he wasn’t actually here to pick me up.
But oh wait… I think I know what would cheer me up. I went to the fridge, got a tomato and went and threw it on Yunho’s car. Sploosh.
Bullseye! The best part is that he probably didn’t see me do the deed.
“Nice shot!” the ajhumma in the balcony next to mine said. I looked at her, surprised that she was still there.
“Good night, ma’am” I said, bowing and quickly running back into my apartment.

“Yes Yoochun. We’re going to be a little bit late okay? Yes I know! I’m hanging up now” Yunho said, looking like he’s very pissed off as he hung up his phone.
“You shouldn’t have screamed” I told him which made him look at me with a murderous glare that I didn’t care about since I’m about to explode in laughter.
“How come you didn’t call me?” Yunho said angrily.
“Well… I don’t have your phone number” I said matter-of-factly.
“What? You didn’t open my package?” he asked, looking at me like he’s blaming me for it. While driving.
“Yes I did. I didn’t see any phone numbers. Right Junsu?” I asked Junsu to confirm.
“Huh, what? Oh yeah… no, there wasn’t any number” Junsu seemed to be very nervous. He was fidgeting.
“I left it in the shirt pocket!” he told me, like I was supposed to know or something.
“Nobody told you to do that” I replied.
“Well didn’t you go through the clothes? Did you at least try them on?”
I don’t know why he is so pissed off. It’s not like my neighbours threw bricks at him. Besides, he deserved it no matter what he says.
“No. I have my own clothes, you know. But if it makes you feel any better, I didn’t throw them in the dump” I told him.
“Well duh, why would anybody throw them away?”
“Don’t tempt me”
Yunho shifted angrily in his seat.
“Still, you should have done an effort to see if I had left you some contact information. It would have saved me a lot of trouble” he said.
“Have you ever heard of the word “tenant”, idiot? There’s one in every apartment. You could have asked him” I said, exasperated at Yunho’s constant attempt to put some blame on me.
“I never picked up anybody at an apartment okay? All my friends live in houses” he told me.
“Well then it’s your fault for being ignorant” I said.
He shut up and I started laughing.
