Hey, sorry to hear you're having problems on teh internets. Isn't the internet stupid? Man...
You ought to have a cookie and a cup of coffee. I made some last night, which reminded me of them. Snickerdoodles.
Random: we saw Let the Right One In yesterday. It's quite good. If you haven't seen it, you should! It's coming out on DVD in a couple weeks, so I don't think it'll be playing long at Studio on the Square...
there are so many movies i haven't seen....we watched breakin 2 eletric bugaloo this weekend cause i'd never seen it. (worth it for the very young ice t) i'll check it out once it goes to dvd. me and movie theatres don't work well together.
i think you may have just inspired me to try out baking on the stove of doom.
read my friends only post that came after this one. it's the happy one...this one sucks and is stupid.
Does your stove suck too? That was the one--and ONLY one--thing I wouldn't be lazy about having Woody fix when it died. There was just no way I could live somewhere I couldn't easily, conventionally cook dinner. Surprisingly, he was right on it--maybe because he was shocked we bothered to bug him (we never do, because we're lazy and know better by now, ha). He had someone come over like the very next day, and the guy was incredibly nice and did a thorough job making our appliance like new. When he was finished, he called me in and said, "Your oven is fixed, Mrs. Traxler" (my boyfriend's last name; we weren't engaged yet...he had spoken to Robert when he came in, but then Robert went to work). Made me smile and gave me a funny story to tell him when he got home
( ... )
it's a combination of the stove and the user. i'm not used to gas, i've already ordered a thermeter for it as the oven part does the same thing....gets waaaaaay hotter than what i've asked for.
and to hell with asking the land lord to do shit. i love where i live, but i could do with out him. i'm just hoping nothing breaks that i can't deal with, cause he doesn't give a shit and will just send a crack head. it's like whatever they are doing in the parking lot....that cant' be cheap, but what's the point????
aww, cute he called you mrs.traxler....i love when shit like that happens. one of the few times i find it ok to be girlie. =)
