Bloodsuckers - more affectionately known to me by its DVD title: Vampire Wars: Battle for the Universe - is a movie that refuses to be defined by a single cliché. Btw, the guy playing the rookie was also on Battlestar Galactica. He played one of the tech crew in the first season (not Callie, not the one who gets punished for the water tank explosion, but the other one).
