If you could have only seen pre-sun/pre-departure Galveston that weekend. Cold. Grey. Dark.

Too bad I only had the cell phone shot of the performance. Still, there's something delightfully sepulchral about P's visage there. :)

A hump day haiku for you =)

Of muted sea, sky, and sand--

Lovely. :)

The cell shot you see is the light at the end of a two day long tunnel of the coldest greys and blackest nights - exquisite.

What types of paints are you using for your minatures?

That's alright - I can't stand how LJ doesn't allow you to correct your comments like a php board would.

20 years ago I used Ral Partha paints. Three years ago I used Games Workshop paints. Now I use Reaper paints.

As the Reaper stuff goes, I seem to have an equal amount of their regular "pro" paints and color triads from their "master series" line. I've been able to blend/use both together without incident (thus far). The master paints seem to come in particularly handy when I'm working on flesh and leather.
