I completely agree. Too many of you kids seem to piss away high school complaining about the detentions you got and the fact that you aren't allowed to wear bandanas or spaghetti straps

At least someone gets it. Not all of High School sucks. I like how I am receiving comments about how I should look for the better things in life as of right now, yet no one here seems to be able to do that in regards to their high school life.
Yeah, I get it. I was an exception because I did absolutely love high school and almost everything about my experience there, but I do understand that it sucked sometimes. Anywho, the point is that these kids don't know what kind of a safety net they have right now. They freak out about how much it sucks without thinking ahead to what they're going to have to deal with - whether in college or if they jump right into working and "the real world".
First of all, sorry about my previous comments. Suffice to say I wish having a shitty day.
Second, I strongly disagree with this. These circumstances vary greatly depending on your choice of major, college, decision whether to go to college or not, lifestyle, interests, and overall perspective. My point stands that I think you're underestimating some of our intelligence here (even though I came off like I was 12), as it's been a seldom few that like to complain about how they treat us like crap. I know plenty of people that get it, college is hard.
Now I'll be honest. My mother protects me like there's no tomorrow, so I don't do drugs, drink, or even leave my house much at all. I think it's really more of a test of responsibility than anything. I know someone who work 40 hours a week with debt up to his knees ($70,000), bills to pay, people constantly screwing him over, and yet he is still okay on his own. I'm in no way calling you unresponsible, but for many people that's what it is.
first of all its, irresponsible, no unresponsible. but thats besides the point. but here is my two cents... you say "I spent so much time complaining about what was going on, that I didn't realize that I was actually experiencing one of the greatest time of my life
