This was a terrible episode to come back with, tho. Like, I get that timing-wise it was necessary, but...terrible. I needed plot to happen.
I was so terrified Kurt and Blaine wouldn't be in this at all, tho. ME GUSTA SO MUCH on that. How are they so adorable just by being like 2cm closer than they would have been an episode ago? And Kurt is all shy and giggly and wistful at the start of that scene and I just me gusta me gusta me gusta.
As much as none of these people in the plots this week are my favorite characters, they are all insanely talented and every performance was liquid freaking gold, and I LOVED Mercedes, I love her and Rachel becoming friends more and more since the Superbowl ep and how Rachel developed through it too. Lauren was a BAMF as usual, Tina deserved more of that solo but was incredible, so was Mike, and Tina/Mike/Artie/Brittany is like...kind of my OT4, I'm not gonna lie, Santana can just get in there and join that and she can be the one Brittany loves most. Or she can find another fierce wonderful girlfriend elsewhere. Because really I just want them both to be happy.
SANTANA THO. HOW FUCKING AMAZING WAS SHE. I NEED HER AND BLAINE TO BE FRIENDS. BECAUSE BLAINE. BLAINE ALL FULL OF RIGHTEOUS FURY TOWARDS THE INJUSTICE OF THE WORLD. PLEASE BE THE GAY TRIFECTA OF MAJESTY AND WONDER FOREVERMORE.
Kurt's hands on Blaine's shoulders geeeently pushing him past Sandy like "honey, no, honey, this is - in Lima this is a thing, you can't win this, sweetie, let's go, cooooome on," I love them so muhuhhuuuuuch.
Did I actually like Will this week? Like as contrived as the shit with Holly was, did he actually act like a human being with Emma and act tolerant and respectful towards her and recognize that her illness is actually hard on her? I may have to reluctantly approve. But I don't think he should go after her at ALL right now, it's not the right time for the same reason it wasn't after he left Terri.
NEXT WEEK, KURT HUMMEL IS BACK AT MCKINLEY.
BITCHES.
...THEY'D BETTER NOT FUCKING RUSH IT.
And this has been a post.
