Holy Shit!!!!!! Hon, I'm so sorry. I know what kind of lifelong friend an instrument can be. On multiple occasions I have almost broken myself to save my clarinet from a fall, and it's a plastic piece of crap. My mother has mentioned selling it, as well as my good concert clarinet,f since I don't play them anymore, but I've shouted her down on every occasion ( ... )

I appreciate the offer to come and hang, and if you're free this afternoon some time, maybe you could come by and help me wipe the char off of the stuff that's left, and figure out which of it actually Can be salvadged? But no pity-visits, kay? We're cool. Unhappy, but getting our heads back together, and moping and making drama out of it is the last thing either of us wants to do. We're all about saving what we can and moving on.

As for Silverfox & Co., I have something even better in mind. I've written to both Their Highnesses of Tir Righ and Their Excellencies of Lionsgate, telling them all the things that SF & Co. did for us, and asking them to help us honour them in some spectacular way. I bet they come through- KSCA people are completely the BEST at honouring those who deserve it. Plus, I'm a scribe, and still have my inks and paints. There WILL be scrolls, and they WILL be fabulous, and they WILL come from my hand, if I have any say in the matter at all.

No pity-visits, gotcha. I will see what I can manage, but life is throwing me minor curve balls right now that I have to deal with. At the very least, I will try to talk my mom around and get my musical friend something to make music with.

Wow. And stuff. Tiger's Paw had burst into flame on us once or twice, but never to that dramatic an extent... I'm glad you're both okay though. Cars... People... Pick y'all in one piece, every time. Big hug, & let us know if you need anything, hai?

As a matter of fact... wfprivateer August 3 2005, 04:05:12 UTC
you can help. I'm going to need a hand getting a few places, and if either of you could offer me transport in the afternoon some time in the next few days, (just pop-around-town type distances...) I can't tell you how much it'd help. (you or she, nothing arranged with people I don't know well, just because I'm too sketchy after all of this, and couldn't deal with that.)

Also, in order to raise some cash, I've got something I'd like to sell, (legally... *S*) and you might be able to help me arrange an e-bay thang or something. (It's a diamond ring.)

Anyhoo- you know my number, and unfortunately, our cel charger got melted, even though the celphone lived. Call me at home- that's where I'll pretty much be. If you don't, let me know here, and I'll e-mail it to ya.

Eek on the cel charger... Yeah, yes. erm... incoherence. gotta love it.

I'm not OT'ing tomorrow, I can go to bed early & plan on getting up really bloody early (i.e. noon ;)) if you have runaround stuff needed... I have to be in Everett for my shift w/the Evil Empire @5pm, tho.... Thursday i'm supposed to buy a condo, but I don't know what time, Friday I have no plans other than abject panicking, but I can do that while i'm driving you (or whomever) around. Is it safe to call at 11pm? that's when my next break is supposed to be, barring stupidling phonecalls.

and if you want to email my phone, i'm 4253191509@tmomail.net - short emails show up as a text on my phone... instantaneously. Operators are standing by. :D

I suppose I should qualify the times quoted in that post that if you so declare, I can drag my sorry axe out of bed earlier....

Well...the important part of your stuff got back, at least...that is, to say, you guys.

Never heard of a car spontaneously combustin' before, though...hoy!
