A week has gone by, and in this house we are not at all sure where its gone, as we have spent most of it asleep. Oops. A late night when BST kicks in is quite confusing, and that confusion has bled into the rest of the week (it was Thursday before Dan got up at a sensible, not almost midday sort of time - don't ask about the unemployed person ( Read more... )

Come to Brum once the weather is a little more dependable. We'll take the kids to the Nature Centre, so Zoe and I can look at all the fluffy things :D

I vaguely toyed with 'doing stuff' the last couple of long weekends I've had but inertia has been my enemy. I am going to attempt to see 300 this afternoon though, tosh it may be but I'm not going to turn down the opportunity of seeing all the unrestrained homoerotism on a big screen.

Inertia is definately the enemy round here. Well, that and Laziness, its a fine combination.

I have assumed that screenings of 300 are full of gay men and women who find Gerald Butler attractive - I can't imagine why the people I assume to be Frank Miller fans are in there ;D

300 - not as awful as Troy, nowhere near as good as Gladiator. Worth seeing at the cinema for the spectacle but it is very hollow.

We must have similar hair. Mine, if it gets cut too short, goes outwards in a not-at-all-cool impression of a mushroom. So I end up looking like one of those Nintendo characters. But medium length it goes curly in a way that looks like I slept on wet hair and then didn't bother to brush it. Also, straighteners were given up when I also realised I couldn't do the back bits. Curses to all with straight hair.

I try to remind myself that people with straight hair wish they had natural curls, but it doesn't seem to help.

I picked how short to start my layers, so I can't really blame this one on the hairdresser (who, bless her, always does exactly what I ask). It does give it some shape, which it has been missing for since Christmas or so. All this said, as easy as really short hair was I don't think I'm going back there any time soon, so I shall just have to get the hang of this :)
