Well, I get around difficult questions like this by looking at when they start/finish, when I want to eat and when i want to be in bed by (early! *sleeps*).

But that is vacillating, so you should go and see Hairspray as it has been out for a while, and will therefore be disappearing sooner. Bourne will be out for ages yet :)

About 1750. Ish. You think the Victorians are bad, you should see the Romantics. Sheesh. Am more than happy to provide reading lists ;-) (guess what part of my thesis is about...)

I knew the knowledge would be out there somewhere :) I didn't think it could be much earlier than that, but thought it probably had to be before the worst victorian excesses I've seen :)
