Nothing sets up your day to return to work like a bloody great cold, about 3 hours sleep, trains being crap so you can't get on one for 40 minutes, and then hitting a ticket check and realising your train pass is lost. I'm actually feeling a bit less braindead than when the cold started yesterday, but not really feeling up to dealing with lost ( Read more... )

Bloody Irish germs - I would have though all the Guinness would have rendered me immune, but apprently not. Sorry to hear you're suffering too :-(

And it was very good to meet up with you guys; DH seemed to survive unscathed :-p At this rate he might start to realise that I really do have good people as friends :-)

Dan and I both have it - woke yesterday morning feeling like arse. Its quite confusing, we never have colds at the same time as its usually one of us infecting the other. This at least means one of us is a bit more useful around the house (we got takeaway last night as couldn't drag ourselves to the shop).

If guinness gave immunity Dan would have avoided this one too :D

We thought DH had it too, but turns out he was just having a tiring crappy day. This is good, not just because he doesn't feel like shit now, but also because he looks after me when I'm ill but prefers to be left alone when he's ill, which would have been less nice for me :-p
