Final Decisions?

I know it's still a bit early in the game for this, but has anyone else made a final decision yet?

I accepted Brown's offer on Monday (for the PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies).

Would love to hear where everyone else is going to end up!

Wow, congrats to all the Brown acceptees! Exciting! Always wanted to go to Providence.

I accepted the only offer I got (haha), from the University of Wisconsin (Madison).

Congrats! Have you started apartment-hunting yet? If you don't mind me asking, does UWM have a separate rhetoric program, or is that part of the English department?

I believe you can either do rhetoric with the Comp & Rhet PhD program in the English department, or there is a Rhetoric program in the Communication Arts department.

And I haven't started apartment hunting yet (though I have perused Craigslist). I'm actually from one hour west of Madison... my brother lives in Madison right now, I have tons of friends in Madison, so I'm hoping to get some really good advice about places. As long as they take cats I will be happy. ;)

Congratulations to everyone who has decided! I'm in the middle of my visitation trip right now, and I can't even imagine being in your position! Sounds like Brown is really lucky to have you all :)

Adding my congratulations, too! It's such a thrill to hear that you've all achieved the dream and are headed to outstanding programs. The sense of clarity and direction must feel great right now.
