Dear Gods help me, I must be insane. This idea for a LARP jumped into my head this afternoon, and I think I'm just going to have to write (and then presumeably run) it. Just write it.

Seriously - these may sound like dismissive or detached words, but
the heart of the sentiment is not. Writing a LARP is intimidating.
Even experienced storytellers get nervous, question their ideas, and
doubt their writing abilities. Having never tried your hand at LARP
writing before, you're going to do all these things and more...

so just ignore all the negative possibilities and do it.

Confidence will make or break your game. The most elaborate story
will be boring if the GM doesn't love it, and kit-bashed games can
be the most fun of all when the GM really gets into it.

When/If you're interested in comparing notes, there are a number of
people who would be more than willing to talk shop with you about
more technical and design-oriented wisdoms =)
