Roger is retiring

Roger is retiring. His last game will be the Chelsea match. So we don't even get to give him a real retirement match.

The good news- he's retiring because he's starting is Masters in Business at UW next month. So he'll remain in Seattle. He'll still be at matches and what not.

Excuse me while I cut my heart out and lay bleeding on the pavement

At least he is retiring and not moving clubs? Trying to think of positives I supposed. No coming back to play against the Sounders. But good for him going on to get his MB.

And I feel your pain. I felt like every time I would open ESPN there would be another Indianapolis Colt being released.

I guess the good thing about him being older is that there was never a risk of him leaving for another club.

Hopefully he stays involved with the Sounders. I really thought he'd stay on to coach the U20s or something, but I guess not (At least, not for now)

Perfect gif is perfect. Applicable to Roger, Erik, Mike, James, Tyson, Kasey, and pretty much everyone
