yeah, that's a pretty ridiculous statement.

i always go by the creed of: there are people in this world who will *blank* you no matter what you do.

insert like, dislike, love, hate.

so if you act like yourself, then eventually people who like/love that will gravitate towards you naturally. if you act differently than who you are, people who like/love *that* will gravitate to you.

so there's no reason to act like anyone other than yourself.
