So after reading it again and calming down I have a quick question; so i know ruki says its 'tradition' but I was wondering if it was like 'hazing' to get into a vampire coven?
Which made me wonder:
-was ruki alone prior to this, is ruki a fairly new vamp(or was he walking along this earth for forevers yo), etc etc
-bc then i kinda get where that heartless-ness would come from. ruki also shows sign of selfishness by claiming reita as his(undertone: only his)

so was just wondering if this was some form of hazing to join or just, like, a rite of passage of a coven.

Yeah, in a way it is like hazing to get in.
I mean what better way is there to get in than to lure some unsuspecting souls to a human buffet ^^

We may never know if Ruki was alone prior or he's a new vampire XD

Btw I totally agree with makochi_kun, it's refreshing to see a vampire story where the vampire actually IS an evil, manipulative fucker~ Aaaaand now he lost his shit so I imagine Reita is in some serious trouble, because I definitely believed him when he said he'd find him D: So, so creepy... Run, Reita, ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!

Well, Ruki is sadistic and malicious, so, who knows, he may very well enjoy the fight that Reita puts up haha

I am seriously relieved that I got that change of Vampires. Originally, vampires were very evil.
Who doesn't like malicious stalker midget vampire *cackles* pretty postive that Reita is in for some painful shit. I almost want to feel sorry for him... almost.

This seems like such an awesome start of a really good story!! I'm so curious! The coven? The ritual? This was what, an initiation? What for?
How will Ruki find Reita? Will he still be pissed when he finds out he had to leave for the whole brother's funeral thing? He wasn't running, not really....
What about the rest of the coven? Would they be super pissed that Ru is keeping a pet for himself??? Is that even allowed? What's their reasons for hunting animals most of the year? Why human only twice a year? Who's their mum???
I just.......... SO MUCH QUESTIONS I CAN'T ;A;

Yeah, Reita wasn't really running, so... I can't really say if Ruki will still be homicidal pissed or not.
Uh... that's a lot of questions and I'm not sure about any of those quite yet. Well, maybe one or two haha

Oh... 'kay... back to being serious, in the beginning, I was already wondering if the person who growled at the own reflection is the vampire... but then ruki in the beginning portray quite a normal image, boyish, maybe a little haughty mouthed... lol. And then... He goes on alone to hunt in disguise and was somewhat different... he knows how to play a temptress well and also knows all the manipulative ways in the game. It's no wonder reita's mind is all mushy now! Got into trouble with a vampire, a step bro died... now the vampire is out to find him. And i get a feeling ruki will find him. Now that's the scary part.... reita, go pack your stuff and grow a beard or something, and run!!!!

Absolutely loved how you portray ruki here, evil and purely a demon's seed. Well... he's usually quite an innocent character in the typical vampire stories... usually... haha. Again, it's nice to see a change here.

Haha well, when you're around friends or even family, you get that goofy side of yourself around only them. When you're off alone, your alter ego comes out lOl that's how I kind of wanted to get that portrayed in Ruki ^^
