“Leave them alone.” Kyuhyun said in a dark voice, threatening Kibum with his words.

“I can’t.” Kibum replied in almost a whisper; he couldn’t leave them alone. He walked between them, pushing them apart as he made his way down the evil corridor.

“Don’t do anything stupid, Kibum.” Sungmin warned him but Kibum kept walking, his knuckles going white as he clenched his fists. This couldn’t be happening.

“I can’t do that either.” He said loud enough for them to hear.

Donghae was his. Not Eunhyuk’s. His. And it needed to be taken care of.

The park was as dark as Kibum’s mood and the street lamps ceased to exist as he stormed through the trees. Don’t do anything stupid? Like what, Sungmin? Define stupid for me. Kibum was oblivious to his surroundings, the blaring in his head taking over his senses. His teeth grinding; his temples hardening. He stopped suddenly as if he had run into something and perhaps he did.

“Fuck.” He said through his teeth. His breathing was heaving and he banged his fist against the hard bark of the tree as if it would make his troubles go away. It wasn’t satisfying enough, nothing would ever be. He fell to the ground, clutching his heart. It hurt. Damn, it fucking hurt so bad. His head dropped to his chest and a single tear fell from the corner of his eye. He wanted to stab the earth until all his problems disappeared. It was the world’s fault; he had to live on this planet day after day, alone. Men do not get sad, Kibum thought. We get revenge. And it was time for his revenge, if not on the world, then at least on Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk had to know what it felt like to ‘loose someone’. And Kibum was just the person to help him achieve this horrid feeling.  The knife in his back pocket was beckoning for use and he knew just how to use it as he lifted himself up and continued his journey towards where Eunhyuk resided.

Eunhyuk’s mother was in the kitchen, sorting through her ingredients that she had and marking down the ones she needed for her cooking competition she had the next day. It was exciting - as if her life was finally normal again and she was happy. He wasn’t by her side anymore, but she had Eunhyuk who helped her through the devastating time. Their life was finally fixing itself and although it wasn’t perfect, it was not far from it.

Kibum left the front door open as he walked into the house and noticed all the lights were on. This won’t do. He thought as he walked straight back out and to the side of the house where the power box was situated. Same as Donghae’s house. He opened the box carefully and the street lamps provided enough light for him to see what he was doing. “Main Power”. It stared at him and he flicked the switch down quickly before he could back out. The house was in full darkness as he walked back in, this time shutting the door as quietly as possible. It still made a significant amount of noise.

“No power? I’ll have to call the power station in the morning.” He heard the mother speak to herself and Kibum briefly snorted at her stupidity before his hand flew to his mouth to muffle the sound.

“Hyukjae?” Kibum heard Eunhyuk’s mother call from somewhere in the house. He swore in his head - he should’ve planned this better.

“Hyuk?” He heard the mother call again and Kibum sought for a decent idea, but failed. The knife was warm as he pulled it out of his pocket (sure it was stupid for him to carry around a knife and no, none of his friends knew he did so, but you never know when you would need one) and stared at it. Did he really want to do this?

Yes.

He walked around the house silently, looking for the person he was looking for. He found her in the kitchen - bending over to find something (probably a flashlight or a candle) and Kibum smiled darkly. Bingo.

She turned around quickly as she heard the unfamiliar voice.

“Who are you?” She questioned; oh shit, did I just say that out loud?

“That doesn’t matter.” Kibum said, thinking back to the thrillers he had watched with his father before he had died.

“What are you doing in my house?” Kibum took a step closer to her and she backed up against the cabinet. Her eyes moved from his face to his hand and he saw her eyes widen as she saw the glistening knife.

“Looking for you.” He said as he continued to take slow steps. It was as if this was natural for him, killing someone that is. His grip tightened on the knife and Eunhyuk’s mother knees were shaking - she was completely terrified. Her life couldn’t end now.

“HELP!” She shouted before Kibum ran over and placed his hand over her mouth.

“Shut the fuck up, bitch. Nobody is going to hear your pathetic calls.” He spat out as he held the knife up to her face.

Her incoherent words were meaningless and Kibum looked at the knife.

“Time to say goodbye.”

Kibum fled from the house as panic took over. The only thing that was running through his mind as fast as his feet were hitting the ground was words of profanity and he tried to pick up his pace. He was so stupid; why would he leave the fucking knife? He had seen the numerous CSI shows and watched numerous detective movies to know that he made a dick move and he couldn’t fix it now. Not as if he could go back to the house; 1) if he saw Eunhyuk’s mother he would die inside and 2) Eunhyuk could walk in at any moment. Even though the latter didn’t stop him from doing it in the first place, he couldn’t go back.

His fear soon turned into ferocious anger. So what if Eunhyuk walked in? So what if he got caught? Eunhyuk fucking deserved it; how dare he take his precious Donghae.

“You shouldn’t have done that, Kibum.” He heard his father’s voice.

“Dad?” He said aloud.

“No, it’s Sungmin you fool.” Sungmin’s voice replaced his fathers. “That was a silly thing to do, Kibum.” His voice was low and calm as his eyes bore into his; and it felt like Sungmin knew everything that Kibum had just did.

“What was?”

“You know I know what you just did. Cut the bullshit.”

Kibum looked down - there was no way out.

“Fuck you.”

“No, Kibum, FUCK YOU.” He shouted before he pushed him to the ground. “You are the lowest piece of shit I have ever fucking heard of. WHAT THE FUCK?!” He shouted louder as he clenched his fists, but no matter how furious he was, he couldn’t hurt his friend. “Get out of my fucking face, you sadistic fucking asshole. Eunhyuk will be hearing about this. Do not think that you have gotten away with it because you have gotten away with FUCK all.” He said as Kibum got to his feet and scrambled away before Sungmin could do anything else.

“AISH.” Sungmin shouted as he looked up into the sky. Why are the stars awake? This is not supposed to be beautiful - this is horror.

a/n: To be honest guys, I would just get used to really late chapters and really short chapters. I've broken this one into parts as I have not finished it yet and I feel very bad so this should give you some info (:
