Gah, a closed door then. I've just seen too many bands I know make sub par videos which look like they've been filmed on tape rather than film (25 vs 24 fps if I recall correctly) and with too much of a college projecty feel to them.
If I ever make a video, it would be on the strict proviso of looking polished, so was naturally excited to see someone I know achieving the right level.
I have plenty of vivid ideas, just need the equipment, crew and cinematographic skills to realise them in a tasteful and pristine fashion.
You look very good in the vid too. Great cheekbones. I especially (and likely predictably) like the moment when you emerge from the smashing capsule.
thank you. we were lucky to have some really good people working on it, a couple of nice cameras, a set, costume and makeup people...very lucky indeed...in fact, there is no way we would have ever been able to afford a video like that...if I had that sort of money I would probably put a deposit on a house!
I was browsing old entries (I miss you) and came across this. I just have to say, it's completely flawless. This is one of the best videos I've come across. I could go into detail, but I'll leave it as that. P.S. I'm jealous of your cheekbones.

I'm looking into videos for some future material and don't want to settle for less than this level of quality.

it was produced and directed by Francis Castelli, who doesn't normally do this thing, but exceptions were made ;)
