This is the latest painting. Lovely brought up the fact that I've been using a lot of red/purple/maroon lately. I don't know what that says about my painting or my mood or whatever, but I do like the effect. This painting, so you can imagine it the way it really is, is about 30" by 45". It's rather large, but that's part of the fun!

i should be doing homework but anything to distract me so..
The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help people in negotiations or confrontations. Red cars are popular targets for thieves. In decorating, red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention.
The color of royalty, purple connotes luxury, wealth, and sophistication. It is also feminine and romantic. However, because it is rare in nature, purple can appear artificial.

also, great paintings, ive been a little busy until now to comment on much. but your a really good artist. keep it up.

(more tears) i miss you just being around. especially on a night like tonight, when i just need someone be around. i need someone to wallow with me, agree with me that life sucks, but then tell me that i can get through this. because right now, it doesn't feel like it.
